Digicore Technologies Inc. 1996-present

President/System Integrator

  • Completed over 20 WSS v3.0/MOSS 2007 implementation, many with significant code based customizations. Developed over 10 SharePoint Features.
  • Developed custom SharePoint Request Management System deployable as a SharePoint Solution for a large Financial Institution.
  • Routinely called on by Microsoft to Keynote at Microsoft sponsored events. Common areas of focus are SharePoint, PerformancePoint and Project Server 2007. Lead Microsoft BPIO Sessions as well.
  • Currently working toward Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 and Windows SharePoint Server v3.0 Microsoft Valued Professional (MVP) status.
  • Created governmax.com. A division of Manatron, Inc. that provides a line of industry leading internet solutions for State and Local governments throughout the United States. Currently hosting over 120 sites, 20+ million parcels, 15+ million official documents and 7+ million mapped parcels. Designed, developed and delivered Internet/Intranet solutions for governmax.com. Position, Chief Technology Architect. Managed 14 member team across three states. Profit and Loss Responsibility over this division.
  • Created multiple solutions with Microsoft InfoPath and SharePoint to help teams and organizations gather and share information using rich, dynamic Extensible Markup Language (XML)–based forms. Built Portal Solutions with SharePoint to enable dynamic collaboration between executives, sales and developers. Utilized .NET to create and extend custom web parts.
  • Designed and developed an on-line storefront for church bookstores and other publishing houses. Designed and developed in ASP.NET, the product features an elegant user interface for browsing and purchasing products. The application provides a complete promotion management capability to allow publishers to place products and categories of products in a variety of different promotions. The on-line store and administrative tool are built on top of a robust, high performance, application framework that boast powerful caching, complete separation of business rules from the user interface and a full object oriented data layer that supports over 10 database back ends.
  • Designed and developed enterprise framework platform in C#, ASP.Net and Code Generation. This platform is being used by Manatron, Inc. to deliver a national suite of applications for Government Revenue Management. This platform delivers world class browser based user interface, performance and database independence. Created an entire line of custom controls to interact with other abstract layers of the framework.
  • Extensive knowledge of C#, ASP.NET, JavaScript, XML and XSLT, VBScript, Code Generation, ISAPI development, ActiveX implementation, Microsoft Internet Explorer, Microsoft Internet Information Server.

Kellogg Company - Battle Creek, MI 1993-1996
Senior Technical Architect

- Responsible for developing key technology directions for Kellogg North America.

- Responsible for a multi-million dollar Proof of Concept Lab to aid in the development of Kellogg’s future technology directions.

- Led 6 person team to evaluate UNIX vendors. The result was a $40 million global contract that resulted in a savings to Kellogg of more than $5 million, an established global partner, and the technology implementation of UNIX.

- Successfully managed 4 people to implement a distributed management tool suite to manage and monitor Kellogg’s global network.

- Technical Lead on team to implement Oracle Financial modules.

- Developed several key processes and workbenches as part of the "Process Re-engineering" efforts.

- Aided in the implementation of a corporate firewall and internet connectivity.

- Extensive experience with TCP/IP implementation as well as SNMP management.

- Leading contributor to Kellogg’s 5 year vision "Windows on the World". This effort is the whole of Kellogg’s global infrastructural downsizing.

- Designed and implemented configuration management and software distribution solutions to cost effectively manage more than 3000 DOS/Windows and UNIX based systems.

- Wrote several applications in PowerBuilder, Visual Basic and Oracle CDEx.

- Developed North American software standards and GUI design guide.
